D9 Band

I have an old style D9. I bought it in 2006-07. The band had broken I would like to purchase another band. I have looked everywhere and called Suunto, no one sells it. are they available? If not, that $2000 computer became a paperweight. Also, when I called Suunto the "customer service" rep had no clue about the product or what I was asking about and just referred me to a website.

The original D9 straps are still available. Are you located in the US?

or ya could also use an 3rd party part which replaces the original strap with some adapters to use 24mm watch straps.
