A diver left the BC mentioned above with me. I was looking at it last weekend and noticed the holes were not the standard 11.5 inches apart. Does anybody know how far apart they are? The unit is at the resort and I just have to know now.

I was just looking at my extra gear and saw a SS backplate and an old wing. I was thinking of putting those two together with the harness on the rig to assemble another useable setup. Any thoughts?

I think they are 10 or 10.5 inches apart... kind of a close but not quite if I recall. Had one of them and used it for doubles but then everytime someone wanted to use my tanks, we had to move the bands apart about an inch or inch and a 1/2.

you have to put a grommet in it. Thats what I have with my RIGIII wing.

This is the plate I have in my gear room. With the slot on the bottom instead of a hole, it looks like I can get away without making any holes right?

I can put a hole in the STA if the 4 current ones do not line up right.

Wont be out to the resort til Saturday so can only try it out then.
