Some time ago (maybe 10 years now?) I remember a project underway to sink a former naval vessel off Dana Point to make an artificial reef and dive locale. I think it was California Ships to Reefs who was doing it, but their website looks like their projects haven't really started.

Does anyone know what the latest is on this project, assuming I'm not imagining it?
