Daphne Search and Rescue will be participating in a diving marathon, aiming to keep team divers, through a relay, underwater for a consecutive 24 hours. The goal is to be able to pledge enough minutes to raise $50,000 in order to purchase a Kongsberg MS-1000 sector scan sonar. This advanced technology will enable our divers to pinpoint the location of an object for quick recovery, while allowing for a much more efficient dive and increased diver safety.
