Looking to in a couple of months to visit my mom in Davie, FL. are there any good locations for shore diving or would anyone be interested in showing off some of the cool local diving. Any input is very much apreciated, thank you in advance. My lady and I are fairly new to diving( atm have 9 dives each from a rock quarry) and want to experience any and everything diving has to offer. So for now not looking for any real tech. things just good fun with low stress. Thanks again feel free to pm or just post anything welcome. :14:

There is plenty of beach diving just a few miles east of Davie/Plantation area. Lauderdale By the Sea is a hot spot for beach diving. Actually almost all of Broward County is great beach diving.
Let us know the dates you are available to dive, and I am sure there will be somebody here that can dive with ya.

Go East young man. There are many shore diving sites from Deerfield Beach to Dania. My favorite is SE 8th Street in Pompano Beach. I 95 north to Atlantic Blvd in Pompano Beach. Go east, cross the ICW bridge and make the next right turn. There is a Force-E dive shop that you will pass on Atlantic.

Turn left on SE 8th, find a parking spot, feed the meter with quarters, suit up, and walk across the sand to the water. You will need a divers flag and float. Maximum depth is about 20ft or so.

There is a fresh water shower there.

Have fun!
