Does the DC800 need to be white balanced under water? Every day? Different depths?

The camera has an auto white balance for use underwater as well as land. However this is like using paint swatches and you will never find a “exact” white balance match. If you want perfect white balance, that you can use the “manual white balance” feature. This requires a white card and is detailed in the manual. The manual white balance will last for as long as the camera is active.

Thanks again. I'll be in Aruba in 5 weeks and I dont want to screw this up!
