I did warn you..... we emailed about this about 2-3 weeks ago to see if you wanted to dust off your dive gear and get it wet 
I think PHD is occupying himself in other ways these days.

yep....
Glenn and SeaYoda and I went and hit the jetties Monday, but it was nothing but brown water at "high tide".
we booked Scubatech's boat the next day, but they wimped out in 2-3 foot seas...
, so we hit the jetties for a nice long dive. water was clear and about 15-20' vis. But it turned into brown murk the last 5 minutes of our dive.still a good dive and hit Dewey's afterwards.
Glad you at least got wet. The Gulf is just not being user friendly lately
