What kind of oil is used in depth gauges, like US Divers and SOS depth gauges from the 50's and 60's?
 
GLYCERIN, 99.5% Pure = 35°F to 150°F
SILICONE, 200 centistoke = -100°F to 150°F
MINERAL OIL = 0°F to 115°F

Pending temperature range. Also if it is a Guage that reads less than 300 psi you would usually need to pull a vacuum on it as well, to maintain accuracy.
