When I first started out, everything was yoke. Then I set up some Doubles that had the DIN w/ yoke insert. Then I bought some new Regs and figured, hmmm, why not go with DIN. Now I have two sets of Doubles and assorted Singles and Stage bottles, all DIN. Go figure. I prefer the DIN because of the way the o-ring is captured and also because it is less likely to break off from an impact of some kind. If I ever need to use a tank that is set up for yoke, I have DIN to yoke adapters to go on my Regs.

I Would Be Willing To Traid .. For Something :)

Hi Gabe,
I have 3 Faber low pressure 90's I would be willing to trade.
They are about 5 years old. If they haven't been recently hydroed
I will get them hydroed.
If interested, exactly what do you have?

John

ill take some pics tonight so you can see them
when i took them in saturday i was told they are HP 90,s (3500psi)

they need Hydroed but look to be in very good shape.. (they are not empty)

they are DIN. and steel

Hi Gabe,

I thought they were 100's.
There would be no point in trading my 90's for your 90's.

oh sorry i thought you were looking to get DIN.. and you had yoak .. lol
yes its monday lol

Everything I have is DIN but I could have changed the valves to yoke type valves.
I would have been willing to give you my three for two larger capacity tanks.
Oh well.

John

Gabe, I have some yoke valves if you're interested, but I really think you'd be much better off converting your yoke stuff to DIN than vice-versa. That said, if you really want to trade, I have some steel 72s I could switch back over to yoke... I'd much rather have DIN 100s.

im looking for a Din to Yoke Adaptor.

and all i see is "Filling adaptors"

3 or my tanks are yoak and 2 ( i just got for free steel 100'S) are Din
i know my lucky day ...

.. i was also thinking would it be better to just put yaoks on the 2 steel 100 and skipp the adaptor all together ?

Gabe

You'll be much better off removing the yokes and replacing them with DIN. Your reg should be DIN as well. If you own your own tanks there is no reason to be yoked.
