Get the normal size backplate that comes with the Halcyon setup. There is no need for different size backplates.

I disagree ... people with a shorter torso can have difficulties with a standard length plate digging into their back or hips.

The shape of the standard size Oxycheq (Koplin?) plate makes it more suitable for some women, since the plate is slightly shorter and the corners more rounded than the Halcyon plate. I just purchased one of these for my SEU, and it fits her torso better than either the DiveRite or the Halcyon ... both of which she tried on and seemed slightly too long for her torso.

Another option is the FredT, which comes in three different lengths. These, BTW, are seriously nice plates ... and Fred will send you literature that provides instructions for choosing the correct length.
