Dive Buddy in OK 5/30 or 5/31?

So I have been recently OW certified, and I am getting my nitrox certification this week. I have not had any dives outside of my OW checkout dives, and this needs to change!!

Since my wife is working Memorial Day weekend, is there anyone that has no plans for that Sunday or Monday and wants to dive? I am in OKC and can drive if anyone from the City wants to go, or can meet anyone at one of the lakes. Maybe Tenkiller, Broken Bow or Murray? Anywhere within a 4ish hour drive is fine with me, I just need to get underwater?

So are there anyone willing to dive with a fresh fish (not sure what you call a noobie here)?

Well memorial day I cant say much about as I will be in Eureka Springs but every weekend Blue water divers will be at Lake Tenkiller and usually plenty of oportunities to find dive partners. There website email list speaks of a cookout they host every saturday evening they are there and gives way to the opportunity to make dive buddies. Best of all most of them will be from Oklahoma City.

Hopefully though youll get someone to answer. I am sorry Id go but previous plans exist oh and for what its worth I honestly prefer diving with newer divers myself

Picked up my tanks at Blue Water last week. They said they wouldn't be diving over the holiday weekend due to the increased boat traffic.

Yea Tenkiller would be a death wish on any diver wanting to try out the dive. Blue water will be back on que though June 5 for what its worth
