Aside from the proper rinsing with fresh water and drying completely before storage. What do you do to keep your dive com at its optimum?

Particularly for the EON Core as I'm considering it - will it be an issue if the computer is taken out for use only a few trips a year?

Put it away carefully in a spot you remember.

I own an Eon Core as I lost my Zoop for a few months in my house. A major search did not find it. So I gave up hoe and bought the Eon core. A month later found the Zoop wedged between the my bedside table and the wall. No this was not an elaborate ruse to justify the purchase to my wife.

More seriously I would turn it on and charge it up every couple of months if you go a long time between dives. And I am very pleased with mine, I suspect you will be too.
