My wife and I are in Cartagena, Colombia. I'm just trying to determine whether or not to dive or snorkel around Rosario Islands--we don't have the option of visiting other cities or islands.

My wife who doesn't dive (and isnt interested in learning, I've tried) is interested in snorkeling so I'm trying to figure out if I'll get to see similar enough marine life by snorkeling than I would diving to about 50 feet. In some of my previous dive experiences, I have seen the same if not more snorkelling than diving. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations based on your experience diving around the Rosario Islands?
