Finds 2" meg w/ broken tip, a piece of mamoth tooth, nice whale ear bone, and the usual small stuff

No sign of red tide on the beach
under water there were a lot of dead fish, did not see any dying fish

Finds couple busted megs and the usual small stuff
got out the 5mm suit
 
11/29/15 Manasota beach by boat.
Viz 12-15 kinda patchy.
Water 73 degrees
Did a couple of dives about an hr and ten mins. Was cold! Wore lavacore and five mil and a lavacore hood. Found 3 and half in meg. Also some nice hemis and a decent mako and small teeth too.

Finds 3 small megs and usual small stuff
No signs of red tide
 
Took my boat out today - 3 dives along the greater Golden Beach area.
Nice 2 foot swells from the NW early on then the wind picked up out of
the north and getting choppy by early afternoon.

72F with 8-10 ft. viz over the gravel. Lots of silt and less viz in other places.
Several meg fragments and the normal collection of small finds. Pesky
remora hanging around on the first dive.
 
So will diving be no good tomorrow Jan 16, 2016?
