Kayak Dive:
up to 10ft vis about a mile off shore of Alhambra. Saw a couple of shore divers abort, but Steve at Fl West said the shore vis was ok too, as long as you swam a little bit further out than they did.

I don't know the temp, but very comfortable in 3mil.

Very very snotty. Viz kept shifting from
zero to maybe 2 ft then back to zero.
Clouds didnt help. Still over all nice
dive. Got out before storms hit.

Site Location : Boneyard +/-
Water Temp: 82 @ 25 ft
Vizibility: not so good....2-3 foot maybe
Tide state if you know it: early to mid outgoing
Wind direction and strength: east...minimal
Surf: boat wakes more than wind waves
Presence of drift algae: pretty snotty

Tried some new (to me) spots today and didn't find much...will post some pics in the I need a fossil ID later...lots of folks out today. I was expecting much better viz but it's still fun.

Did my first kayak dive today from N. Venice pier. Followed GPS to outskirts of the boneyard. 2-3 ft vis. Then went about 100 yards N. of Pier. Vis was about 6". If anyone has lost Jack Squat, I found him. However, I am now hooked on kayak diving, although mine is not really good for this. I guess I'll get a better one later.
