I'm a Fish!
We currently offer voluntary internships that take you from Open Water (or your current level of diving certification) to Divemaster. Through the internship you have the opportunity to gain real life, hands on experience through on the job Divemaster training. Through the internship program you will earn all of your diving certifications up to Divemaster level as well as nationally accredited Advanced First Aid, CPR, Oxygen administration and Cylinder filling qualifications.

The Internship is unpaid, however what you will earn through participating is all your Dive courses including materials and certifications up to Divemaster level, nationally accredited training certificates as well as plenty of logged dives, snorkel trips and whale watching tours (seasonal). You will also gain excellent and diverse industry experience to take you forward to the next level.

We are looking for candidates who are hardworking, possess good problem solving ability, have experience in customer service, are able to financially support themselves throughout the internship and are able to work within a team environment. It would be favourable if you had a full manual driver’s license as well as language skills. Whilst training as a Divemaster you will become a valuable member of our team. During this time, you will benefit by participating in our diving, snorkelling and whale watching activities (seasonal) where you will learn valuable industry skills, explore the Julian Rocks Marine Reserve, encounter interesting people and accumulate many enjoyable memories.
