Happened this Saturday in Grenville,province of Québec as the diver was helping his father to retrieve his tractor that fell into the an old canal along the Ottawa river. Diver is an OPP officer and got in the canal in about 15-20 feet deep, tied to a rope with a helper on the shore. When the helper noticed diver was staying under longer than expected, pulled on the rope to find diver dead at the end....
