In Northern Michigan [actually 150 miles north of
Windsor, Ontario] some people play Ice Golf. Much
like hockey, small holes are drilled under the ice
and players use a putter and a small floating ball
and play upside down. Other than that we count
the days to going to the Carib [Jan. 18 Coz!]
Today in Michigan the entire northern half of the
state is shut down with an ice storm...schools,
courthouse [yeah!] and everything else.

...how about NIGHT ICE GOLF for an eXtreme sport entry!
I have played in CNIB charity events where you use a clear golf ball with a small glow stick in it and the flag has a glow stick on it (on a real golf course, I might add). The rest is up to you (players usually wear a glow stick too so nobody gets lost). Add some cold ice water & scuba and there's some serious task loading for you. Kids: this is not something to try at home! But could be exciting under the right controlled conditions.

All of the above ideas would be great scuba pictures...anybody have a JPG to contribute?

defentily upside down ice hockey !

and the fact that i dive for sea urchins with is all winter the manditory is a drysuit with small hot pads attached to the under garmets .
water temp here at 60 ft is 40 dec F 42 at the surface and air temp is 29 deg F .

I have some warmers that look like a small plastic baggy full
of clear water. There is what looks like a gray penny in the
bag. If you "click" the penny the bag heats up and turns solid
like wax. It gets HOT and stays that way for an hour. To recharge
it you put it in a pot of boiling water and it turns liquid again.
It works under water. Is this what you guys use?
