Since you posted in the region specific forum, I expect you want some information specific to the region? I did fundamentals about 2 years ago and couldn't recommend it more heavily whether your goal is to proceed to advanced technical training or to refine your skills but remain recreational only. Like the previous poster mentioned, there are a lot of course reports on fundamentals floating around so you can go look those up.

If you are looking up an instructor based in Msia/Singapore, Msia does not have any local instructors at present and Singapore has 3 instructors. Look up the guys at Living Oceans (Living Oceans) for our local GUE dive centre in Singapore, you can contact Gideon and Chee Hoon there. Living Seas (http://livingseas.asia/) is another option, though Leon is now primarily based in Bali. Hope this helps.
