Me and a friend want to do some diving at the end of January.
We will do some trekking in Sabah and are looking for a place to relax/dive/snorkel (app. 5 days).
He's not a diver.
It's not the time for the east-coast of Malayasian-mainland due to the weather.
And most resorts arround sabah are closed.
That "only" leaves us with sipadan.
My concerns are that it's not very suitable for relaxing and the mix of diver/non-diver.
Furthermore I heard quite some bad stories about the Chinese in the resorts.
Do you have any other recommendations?
I'm thinking of going to Koh-Lipe for instance.
Or is there a nice resort at Sipadan, you could recommend?
