Hey all,

Made a note years ago from a small Lonely Planet or Rough Guides book.

I swear one of them was diving among disarmed mines in the Philippines, but for the life of me I cannot find anything on this on the web. Anyone aware of this/done such diving? Maybe it's in another countries waters?

In my experience I wouldn't advise going near a minefield land or sea deactivated or not!!

Although it would be pretty awesome I must admit

Japan in World War II, the U.S. Navy dumped close to 25,000 Might still be a few about in the waters??

Cheers for the responses. If only I'd known when I was in Kinsale years back.

I wish I hadn't thrown out the book as I remember the picture specifically. Either that or madness has set in earlier than I imagined.

Okinawa has all the bombs you want to dive with underwater. Still live just to increase the fun.
