Thanks everyone for the helpful information!
Hmm… I guess I’ll start with Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador. :bounce: I'm getting exited!!

I don’t know much about the continent yet, so I don’t have a clue which islands the ‘backpacker islands’ are. I guess I have to get myself a Lonely Planet soon to figure that out. I don’t feel like spending much time in very touristy areas (I want to learn Spanish and learn something of the local culture)! If someone has any good suggestions, feel free to PM me as well!

Yes, Gaz, 899 US dollars for a package is a bit too much for me. That’s what I want to spend on a ticket from Europe to get there. :) You do get a lot of things for that money but I thought I’d stay in the low budget places. Perhaps it’d be nice to do a dive trip for a day/some days or something, but excluding fancy accommodation etc. Do you have a website of your business in case I decide to go there? Yes, who knows tot ziens! :)

Thanks!
