Looking for anyone who has been to Cuba in 2009 and can give some input into the best area to dive and any dive shop experiences. Looking for fun diving, all are experienced divers with minimum of a DM cert.

Thanks :)

You might want to post this in the Greater Caribbean forum instead of the Central America forum. You are more likely to get responses there.

I have dove Cao Coco, Hibicoa, Veridero, Santiago and "Bay of Pigs". The last 2 are on the south side and the only reason we got to dive there was because the north shore was too rough and windy. After 3 days a bus took us for a day trip and a 2 tanker to Santiago and Bay of Pigs.

If you are just there to dive and can live in a modest room for a few days then south shore is best. No 3, 4, or 5 stars can be found.
