Diving in Tampa, FLA - April 2010

Hi Everyone,

Was looking for recommendations for some dives in the Tampa Florida area. I will be attending a conference from the 7th - 11th, and would like to get in at least a dive or two while I am there.

I'll be in the historic Ybor District.

Any recommendations would be great!

I dont know what is in Tampa but an 1.5 hours South is Venice Florida. Check the website Floridawestscuba.com There is a link for Shark Tooth Dives. You may enjoy it. If the boat is full and the conditions are right you can rent a tank and a flag and dive off the beach. Check the Florida threads for Vencie Fossil Diving.

Check out Tanks-A-Lot. Capt Mike and Heidi run a great dive boat. I have been out with them a few times and have had a great time every time.
