Diving Lake Michigan in July?

Hi,

I've got some relatives up near Muskegon that we'll be visiting for a week in July. We'll be in a cabin on Wolf lake and will probably dive in there a few times, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips/caveats about diving in the Muskegon area?

Any places to avoid? Dive clubs full of nice people? Boats that go out into Lake Michigan for diving purposes?

That area is supposed to have some nice wrecks, I'll be on the other side of the lake diving out of Milwaukee July 26-27.

Check with Tim at Advance Scuba in Holland, MI. He may have some charters going out of Muskegon around then. I'll keep up on this thread and PM you if I'll be around then. I live in Muskegon but I'm keeping a boat in the Straits this year. I'm picking up another boat on Thursday to have down here. If I'm in town that week/weekend, you're welcome to come out with me.
