Just wondering about the strap one uses when diving with a digital watch. I find the actual band on my watch too small to put over my wetsuit. Would it be a good idea to cut it and use bungee instead? Comments. Thanks.
 
i am sure you can find longer straps around, quite cheaply. if there are any surf
shops in your area, go to one. they have tons of straps there.
 
a lot of people swear by them.

it's a beefier version of the original NATO straps.
it goes around the pins and under the watch case. it prevents the watch getting loose in case one of the pins fails and it can be set from short to longer sizes. i guess it might even fit over a dry suit. try a google search with "waterborne watch strap" and you'll find some scuba gear and some watch parts sites.
