The Third Quarter 2010 NACD Journal is at the printer and will be mailed soon. You will not want to miss this issue. It includes:
• A tribute to the late Wes Skiles by Mark Long. Also, the centerfold of the magazine has a beautiful photo from the collection of Wes Skiles.
• An eye opening article on gas management from Andrew Ainslie. His account on a recent experience is something that should encourage all of us to think about our own gas management process.
• Daphne Soares wrote an article on the cave fish that we may (or may not) see.
• A conservation update on the recent clean-up efforts at Cannonball Cave in Missouri.
• An update on access regarding Emerald Sink and Clear Cut Sink.
Read these articles and more in the next issue of the NACD Journal.

Also, do not forget about the upcoming NACD Seminar and activities on November 5, 6, and 7. You may register online at National Association For Cave Diving.

If you have not received the latest journal issue, it should arrive in the next few days. We have tried something different in the latest copy. There is an article and pictures by Barbara am Ende, Mike Bartlett, Shirley Kasser, and Adam McDowell concerning a recent trip to Cozumel where the Cocodrilo system was pushed and where a new system, Sin Nombre, was discovered. After you read the first part of the article in the journal, go to the NACD website, National Association For Cave Diving, to finish the article. It should be posted within a few days. Along with the other articles mentioned in the above post, we hope you enjoy this issue.

Here is a clarification of my last post. The authors of the article were Mike Bartlett and Adam McDowell. Pictures were submitted by Barbara am Ende, Mike Bartlett, and Shirley Kasser.

To finish reading the article, go to NACD Journal.
