very cool. I did a search, and the closest I found was a black headed parrot that lives in the Amazon basin, however, it was not a real close match.

Nanday conure?

That would be my guess. Hard to get all the details in his photo but thats what it looks like.

i believe they are black-hooded(nanday) conures. there is a large flock that nests between the caribbean club and the marriot(iv'e also observed a flock @ the key largo community park behind worldwatersports). i saw a group of conures (and heard them!!) just this past weekend while getting tanks filled @ island ventures,,,,,,,,,

Yep those are nanday conures. I used to breed them years ago when I had birds. As with all conures they are very loud.
