All,
my drysuit inflator valve button is firm to push. Not too bad but from what I have read can be remedied by use of silicone spray (sprayed into the the metal quick connect), however, after further reading it is thought that silicone sprays are really bad for drysuit materials. What are your suggestions? What spray should I use? Thanks.

The drysuit inflator contains a metal rod, two rubber o-rings (at each end), a metal spring, and some plastic around. It is not made of trilaminate.
When did you last service that assembly? Remove dirt. Replace o-rings. The usual stuff.
There are some excellent posts above :)

Just serviced it a couple days ago following people's advice on here. It was easy. There was a bit dirt in the valve. It is all cleaned and put back together is much more smooth. Hopefully I tightened down on the suit enough so it doesn't leak.
