Ber Rabbit:
I feel sorry for the officer who tackled him, that tank HAD to hurt!
Ber :lilbunny:

Speaking from personal experience: Tanks really hurt, especially the valve.

its humour!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why does Dir have to come into everything? there was scuba and humour before DIR!

The moral of the story is "neoprene wet suits don't protect against police stun guns".
Always useful to know.....

Hey we didn't name it DIR (doing it right). This guy didn't dir or he would have gotten away.

How to do this correctly??

Hmmm ok first off the whole running thing? yeah that is no good.... your gonna kill your bottom time, fall into the stressed diver catagory just like everyone said..... solution?
Pick a better bank to rob. One close to the beach, or even on the ocean. I am seeing one of those nice banks in like Monte Carlo.....

Next, Fins in the car.... Check your equipment first? Duh.... Ok we can assume he ment to take them with him but that whole tree thing messed him up.

Bubbles? Yeah bubble trails are pretty easy to follow. Lets get real technical with it now....

Ok Entry with weightbelt, and a tank strapped to your back and nothing else from a pier... hope your ears are clearing cause you are making a very negitively boyent entry. You sink to the bottom, where you have the real gear waiting. You put on your wetsuit, rebreather (do you used a BC with a rebreather?) fins, other weights etc....

Disconnect your reg and open your tank slightly so a stream of bubbles continues up. Everyone is looking at the bubbles going no they haven't moved. You are on your way to your pickup point, hopefully in near 0 vis water. (Not in Monte Carlo however) and then away you go in your 8000 hp cigar boat.

I think he had at least an intresting idea for a criminal, but poor execution. You do have to give him points for being creative which is more then can be said for most criminals.

That has to be the dumbest getaway idea ever lol, running in tight rubber draging your scuba gear and money with the police right behind you... thats going to work out great and he left his flippers behind lol.
