Last I saw, ~$450. I've had mine for 4+ years. Never had a problem. He has switched from NiMh (which will still work) to Li-on (4 cell, 2S2P) packs. He has an upgraded/long run Li-on pack now (8 cell, 2S4P) for extra.
A very nice thing is the packs are 'generic', not hugely expensive proprietary packs.
