Due to trimming the back of my garage this weekend with shorts and no safety glasses, I managed to get poison Ivy...bad. I was hoping this would subside by now, but has only worsened and resulted in a swollen right eye as well legs and arms.
I doubt I will make it to DS this weekend. I know you can go into dutchsprings.com to request a dive buddy if you have not found one already. You just need to check back into the site for responses. Again, sorry.

PS-There must be something better than Benedryl pills and caladryl lotion, anyone have any suggestions?

Baking soda and vinegar. Mix it into a paste and apply liberally...

jjmdiver.... sorry about p/i... persistant stuff, check with your doctor and question him about prednizone, its a steroid that is commonly perscribed for such afflictions, it works great...

Thanks. That was exactly what my Dr. prescribed, 10mg, 4x/day, then less and less over a 10 day period. The caladryl lotion was not cutting it, glad I went to the DR. Benedryl pills also helped with the itch. (They say dont use the Ben spray for PI)
When is the next time you're going to DS?

Glad the P/I worked out...sorry did not get back to you quicker, hectic schedule...I am free for diving over the next 3-4 weeks, let me know if you need a d/s buddy...
