Hi everyone. New to this section. Does anyone knows about a DX-1G adapter that was going to use a less amount of light to trigger the strobe through the fiberoptic to reduce the energy consumption? The adpater was going up in the single socket of the housing. I heard about that in another forum. Is this true? Thank you.

Hi Darrel-
Initially when the DX-1G was first introduced there was discussion that an LED adapter to mount in the camera's hotshoe and be triggered by the internal flash may be made and become available. That product did not come to market and will not be available in the future.
