e-330 ikelite 6"dome and 14-45 lens

I purchased the dome port that was called out on ikelites port chart. It said that you need a +4 diopter lens. I finally got the close-up lens, I tried everything together just for fit. It seems that you really need a longer port, because the lens will hit the dome.Any thoughts would be great.

I just got an e-mail from Ikelite, they said they would switch my dome port for a longer one. No charge , no problem. I guess the length of diopter lenses vary.
