East Timor Adventure Liveaboard, Frontier Diving with Macro, Pilot Whales & Dugongs
Equator Diving is proud to offer an adventure trip to East Timor (Timor Leste), Asia's youngest country. This adventure will take place on the luxurious Oriental Siren liveaboard, allowing us to easily reach the virgin offshore dive sites of Jaco island and Atauro island, as well as the fabulous costal dive sites. Indeed, East Timor's Jaco island has only ever been dived by a handful (literally) of very lucky people. Equator Diving recently visited East Timor and cannot wait to return - you can read our trip report here. The diving in East Timor is characterised by deep walls, with probably the most stunning coral we have ever seen, combined with rare macro critters, pilot whales and the endangered dugong -making it a very unique and special dive destination. For our 10 night liveaboard trip we will welcome 14 guests aboard the Oriental Siren- this ensures abundant space for all. This trip will be a true dive adventure led by Don Silcock and will include complimentary photo workshops. Don is a UK born, Australian based underwater photographer and journalist who has explored Asia for many years, publishing countless articles on his dive expeditions. Don visited East Timor in August last year and now returns to lead this exciting trip.
