EDIVING REACHES SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE
Members performed more than 100,000 virtual dives
TUSTIN, CA, October 28, 2011 DiveNav, the developer of the innovative eDiving® and divePAL simulators and DiveComputerTraining® service, announces that members of the eDiving community have cumulatively performed more than 100,000 virtual dives for a total virtual bottom time of almost 17,000 hours.
With almost 25,000 users from more than 130 Countries, eDiving is establishing itself as the only Scuba Diving Simulator that allows its users to EXPLORE real dive sites, LEARN to use real dive gear and PLAY missions dedicated to divers.
Our members are coming from all over the world and have a broad range of diving expertise, said Alberto Mantovani, President and CEO of DiveNav, they use eDiving to address their own needs: whether planning a dive trip, practicing with a new dive computer or just hang out with like-minded divers, he concluded.
As of today eDiving includes 63 virtual dive sites for either real places, specific dive gear or for multi-player gaming. It also includes 205 different pieces of gear, including fins, masks, BCDs, wetsuits, regulators, lights, dive computers and a rebreather representing 23 different brands.
