Can anyone tell me which insurance companies in Canada have programs for scuba equipment? I'm not looking to add it to home insurance or another policy. It would be specifically for the equipment. I've found one, AWRYInc.com, but their communication is horrible. I'd rather pay a little extra to be insured with a larger company.

Thanks

I vaguely recall an email from PADI Canada last year about an insurance company.

Maybe give them a call, I think they have a 1-800 number listed on the PADI website.

Why do you not want to add it to an existing policy? That is the simplest and most cost effective route. The delta cost could be free.

Even if you do not own a home, you can purchase tennants insurance to cover all of your personal belongings. Scuba gear is no more special than golf clubs or a bicycle or a tool box full of tools. It is something tangible that you own. You will not llikely need any special rider for normal scuba stuff. High end camera rig is likely worthy of a special rider, but a bcd, fins and reg is not.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give my broker a call and see what the cost would be to add it to my policy.
