Ok. Just for fun- What songs could be scuba songs.

For starters:

Jordan Sparks "No Air"

Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air? Can't live, can't breathe with no airIt's how I feel whenever you ain't thereThere's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deepTell me how you gon' be without me?If you ain't here I just can't breatheThere's no air, no air
No air, airNo air, airNo air, airNo air, air

LOL- That is a buddy song for sure.

Not really on the radio anymore . . . but then there really isn't any music on radio anymore.

But back in the day -- hey, that's a way different story. Two songs from my childhood "radio days" come to immediate mind:

1. Octopus's Garden -- some obscure British band
OCTOPUS'S GARDEN - YouTube

2. Atlantis -- Donavon
Donovan / Atlantis - YouTube

. . . ahhhh, good old radio days!!

Adele's - Rollin' In The Deep

and

Guns 'n' Roses' - Estranged

Are first to come to mind.... I'm sure there are tons though. Clever thread idea :)

Sure, look at my sig, Talking Heads Once in a Lifetime:

"You may ask yourself, how do I work this?
You may ask yourself, where is that large automobile?
You may tell yourself, this is not my beautiful house
You may tell yourself, this is not my beautiful wife
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again, after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground "

This Savage Garden song was used on a video made of my first shark feed dive:

SAVAGE GARDEN - I WANT YOU LYRICS
"Using symbols, using words can be likened
To a deep sea diver who is swimming with a raincoat

Come stand a little bit closer
Breathe in and get a bit higher"

I have an older CD of Lorraine Klaasen, South AfricanCanadian singer, and I like to play "Wake Up Mama" when I drive down to Brockville On to go diving in the St. Lawrence. Drive along the huge river and listen to this great township dance music before I get on the charter boat. It"s summer, the water is warm, the current is running and I'm diving with good friends. Yeah, mon. I relax.
