I will be out in Fallon in the middle of September....any good spots to dive? Also, 7mm Farmer John good enough this time of the year?

Most divers in northern Nevada go to Lake Tahoe. I've dived it a few times in a 7mm. It's tolerable, but if you get below the thermocline it will be in the mid to upper 40s.

Where do you get tank fills and dive on Tahoe...the closer to Fallon the better as I won't have a personal vehicle so will be paying a taxi or friend.

It's a couple blocks off Highway 50, so not out of your way from Fallon.

If you're feeling adventurous. I always wanted to check it out when I lived over there, but couldn't justify the drive.
