Would like to know if welland scuba park is good place for check out dives in end of October, too cold? Is there a platform and how deep. Don't want to wait for spring to get certified.

If you're talking about Burlington, Ontario my guess would be it will be chilly but you'll get through 2 dives each day. Can you find a site to check water temps.? I assume you are talking about L. Ontario?
