Join us for a fun-filled day on January 28 diving and snorkeling with the manatees in Crystal River with select VIP’s and guests! The manatees are here!

The first annual Scuba News Cruise is scheduled to depart from the Port Hotel and Marina Dive Center at 11:00am January 28. Located right on the main spring in Kings Bay (Kings Spring), this venue will delight you with it’s location & offerings.

3 Port Hotel and Marina pontoon boats are reserved for a full 8 hour day. The excursion is not mandated for all to be on board all day: tell us when you’re ready to go and we’ll take you back to the dive shop! Divers, snorkelers, sight-seers welcome!

Captaining the Scuba News I pontoon will be Capt. Wayne White of the Port Hotel & Marina Dive Center. His acclaimed photography can be viewed in the dive center, and everybody has a good time when Capt. Wayne is at the helm!

If you are going to need lodging, all rooms at the Port Hotel & Marina are waterfront and reasonably priced. January is a busy time of year, the manatees are in Kings Bay thick, so plan to book your lodging early. Speak with Marge or any of their helpful staff and mention you are with the Scuba News Cruise. They will take care of assisting you. Visit their website at www.porthotelandmarina.com. There is an indoor and outdoor restaurant, Sports Bar, and Ale house on site. All you need is right there.

Price $
Each person wishing to secure a seat on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd boat is asked to contribute only $15.00/person for the cost of the day trip. Tips to captain and crew are appreciated. If you are interested in joining us, simply reply to doug@scubanews.com and I will enter your name on the ledger. We anticipate a group of 30 to 40 people so BOOK EARLY! It will be helpful to obtain cell phone numbers so we can coordinate your arrival and accommodate you if there are any problems with your schedule. Photographers and dive press are encouraged to participate.

Adult Beverages are permitted on board, but please, no drinking and diving!

SEE YOU THERE!! RSVP TODAY!!!
