I went diving to the usual artificial lake on Saturday with the usual buddy (no choice this time of the year with everyone being on vacation  ).

We planned on a deep dive saying "maximum 35 mts, 45 minutes to an hour or 50 bars".

Visibility was fine until around -17, the it went totally dark "who put the light off?"

We always dive with lights, so that wasn't a problem.

I was conducting the dive (we were supposed to find an old car which is at around 32 mts, which we didn't see, despite having the correct compass indication).

At around -33 narcosis set in, for me and my buddy, although probably stronger for me.

My buddy told me we went around turning in circles for almost a quarter of an hour, going into deco time (1 minute at -3), it seemed to me like five minutes maximum, and I only "woke up" when my Aladin signalled 0 for "no deco".

Nothing really serious happened and we ended up with more than enough, including the small deco.

It will be interesting, when I have time, to have a look at the dive profile with Data Track.
