Silly question, but essentially the DST and DS4 regs are identical minus the turret and the extra HP port on the first stage? What about the 2nd stages, the ATX50 and ATX40? Are they the same as well?

And what is different between the ATX200? The site pretty much describes ALL of them with the same features.

ATX40 and ATX50 both use the DST 1st stage. ATX100 and ATX200 have different 1st stages with imptoved hose routing.

Second stages are virtually identical, except that the ATX40 does not have a BRA (breathing resistance adjustment) knob, but requires an allen key (hex wrench?) to alter.

I believe that the service kits for all Apeks ATX 2nd stages is identical.

Not to me, I dive DST/ATX40s.

"Dry valve technology" is a spring loaded plug which acts as a stopper in the first stage inlet. When connected to tank valve, air pressure forces the stopper forward letting the air pass around the plug and through the filter.
