It's my first time diving the Wreck of the Rothesay, in Prescott, next week. (Also, my second dive since my certification). Anyone been there, and have any tips or what to expect?

Excited!

Easy dive. Almost no current. Viz can vary from good (15') to very bad (<5) like any place in the St-Lawrence. Make sure to recall where the line to the shore is. The wreck is quite far from the shore, might not be a good idea to surface.

Doing 2 dives there could be boring so you might consider the Conestoga for your second dive of the day. More current but very close to the shore.

Have fun
