I'm a Fish!
Okay, so I've been married for six months now and I've been wondering if the first year of marriage is really the hardest. I'd like to hear the opinions of those that have been married for a while. My best friend has been married for five years and, although she's very happy now, their first year was awful. I've heard similar sentiments and I'd be interested in what other people think...especially men compared to women.

Okay....go

Nope. But then, we did live together for a few years before getting married.

I did too and I think that helped....my friend and her hubby did not. Good point.

It also matters what the couple's ages are when they get married.

The first year is hard and then you start to go numb. That helps a little. Going partially deaf has helped me immensely!!

Yep 1st year(s) where the hardest.
5-6 or 7 times a day.
After 25 years you just get once a day.:rofl3:

:D

:rofl3: This is thread is going downhill fast....hahaha

Give it a day or so and you'll have to look for it in the Pub.:rofl3:

A lot of people will tell you a marriage takes work.

What they don't tell you is it is a life sentence at hard labor.
