Have a few fish from Bonaire this May that need ID'd. Checked a few books, but would like expert opinions.

You have some snappers mixed in there too. I see at least one mahogany snapper (in the center, has big eye and red-edged tail), and there may be some gray snappers as well.
 
my guess was a black margate as well, but it lacked the distinctive black shading to mid body. Other pics I have of black margates where very clear. could this be a white margate?

Based on body shape and eye size/placement I would say no.
