Ozzi,
Those are great focused shots! You using the stick on lens on your mask or auto focus? that's quite an accomplishment wit double stacked lenses.

Hi Prandy,

Still getting a lot of missed focus. Just don't post the bad ones.

Yesterday was particularly hard with the sexy shrimps since there was surge and current working against me.

Been getting a lot more practice with the stacked macro lenses.

No, still don't have the stick-on bifocals for my mask. : ) "Hope" is still a big part of the equation when checking focus until I get my stick-on bi-focal lenses on my mask.

Wow, I'm impressed with your results from the stacked 165's. I've taken them on two trips now and only have a handful of shots I'm semi-happy with.

Do you leave your camera on manual focus and move the rig back and forth until your subject is in focus?

Hi Girellator!

Nice to hear from you. How is the diving in Bohol? Please post your images from your trip soon.

Friend of mine use the subsee +10 and he has very good results. Have not tried it as I do not want to subject myself to "gear envy"

AF is on. I move the camera in and out to get within the focus range. I have a focus light that hels a lot (Inon LE550W). The cuttlefish actually came closer when the light was turned on.

Thanks...

Last November on every night dive during a trip to Komodo, we saw cuttlefish. They were very interested in my lights. I found that when I placed my torch immediately next to my mask, they'd swim right up to my face. Extreme fun staring eye to eye inches apart.

Which is more powerful: the subsea +100 or double stacked Inon lens?
