Fly and Dive?

I'm going to be in Costa Rica for a 4 nights. Refresh my memory. I can fly THEN dive, but I can't dive THEN fly, right?

When did you last get to go diving? Wondering if a refresher is something to think about.

Flying is often deyhdrating. So depending on the flight, the level of fatigue, etc not diving right away can be reasonable. On the other hand, I can fly down to the Keys after 8 hours sleep, a 2 hour plane flight, and be at the dock an hour before the afternoon boat leaves following a lunch and rehyrdration and have no worries about a friendly reef dive.
