I am not sure if this is the appropriate arena for this question but here goes. I just heard yesterday at work that a free diver just lost here life while trying to break a record for the deepest free dive. Does anyone have any info on this? I know on outdoor life channel there is a husband and wife team that does just that. I believe here name is Meagan. Just wondering if it was her that met an untimely end... Thanks

I haven't heard of that one. Could it be Audrey Mestre? She and her husband were both free divers, and she did die attempting a record. That happened a short while ago.

Thanks nicodaemos and detroit diver. That must be the one that I heard about. The post answered all my questions... What a shame.
