oh yea, so forgetful 'bout that. Even forgot my wetsuit that day...a few jellyfish too.

Wow. Very impressive, indeed!

What's with no wetsuit for you?

Nice pix. Looks like some yuck on the CCD, though. :(

Nice Snorkle, hon.

okay, splain that....

Nikon said today, maybe needs to be cleaned? How would it get dirty? Almost always use it underwater only...

if you ditch those open heel fins and grab a pair of their cressi-fins. Also when you gonna fix that leaky pressure guage?

yea, I have Cressi's but since I was wearing a tank...what leak?

yes, how bout that snorkel?

What's with no wetsuit for you?
JB forgot to pack it. The water was 78 F though.

catherine,

Inspirational to say the least!

In the first pic... Omer is aspetto on the deck, way below as Cressi ascends!

These kids are great!

Omer took a shot with his Marc Valentin, but with that visibility, it would have been a miracle!

Incredible photography... what can you do on a good day?

Catherine, here's a good explanation of the CCD/CMOS cleaning technique, along with a sales pitch for the kit:

Catherine forwarded this thread to me. I appreciate all the comments that were made. You all sure have a lot of stoke.

I just thought I'd share some of the videos my dive partner, Derek ("Cressi"), and I ("OMER") have made recently. We started with Canon point-and-shoots (I still use one), but Derek recently upgraded to a video camera. We're trying to gather enough footage to produce a DVD. I would also really like to shoot underwater with a DSLR, but I haven't acquired one yet.

Derek and I would be glad to serve as buoy jockeys for anyone's boat, any time! Catherine's gracious invitation allowed us to go out to a few wrecks for the first time, whereas we normally only get to kayak out to familiar nearshore spots. Hopefully we'll get to explore more wrecks soon.

Aloha,
Kurt
